Edith Cowen University City Campus

The Edith Cowen University City Campus is being delivered by the Federal Government, the Government of Western Australia, and Edith Cowen University (ECU), under the $1.5 billion Perth City Deal.

A key part of the Deal is $695 million for ECU Creative Industries, Business and Technology Campus to be developed next to Yagan Square. The site adjoins Perth Railway Station on the recently developed link between the CBD and Northbridge.

The campus will feature the following schools, programs and initiatives:

  • Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA)
  • Founding Pianos
  • Arts, Design and Communications
  • WA Screen Academy
  • Broadcasting
  • Kurongkurl Katitjin - ECU's Centre for Indigenous Australian Education and Research
  • Business and Law, and
  • Technology and Cyber Security.

Sep 2020 Perth City Deal announced - a key component of it being a $695 million investment by the Commonwealth Government, WA Government and Edith Cowan University to develop a new campus in Perth CBD.
Jun 2021 Related contracts awarded such as design contract, engineering contract (for Civil, Structural and Building Services), acoustic engineering, town planning and quantity surveying.
