In October 2019, the NSW Government announced it will competitively tender 13 of the 14 Sydney metropolitan bus contracts over the coming three years.

Among these 13 contracts, the NSW Government will be competitively tendering Bus Region 2, which is currently operated by Interline Bus Services. Region 2 covers the south western suburbs between Liverpool, Ingleburn and Hoxton Park, with key stations at Bringelly and Glenfield.

An industry briefing on 10 October, confirmed that contract procurement is expected to commence in early 2020. Contract award is scheduled for November 2020, so the new operator can begin services in mid-2021.
