Bus services in the Greater Sydney Metropolitan area are divided into 15 regions, serviced by individual contracts. Historically, these contracts have been operated by a combination of the State Transit Authority and private operators.
Bus Contract Two covers the south western suburbs between Liverpool, Ingleburn and Hoxton Park, with key stations at Bringelly and Glenfield.
Contract Two will be procured as part of Transport for NSW's upcoming procurement processes for 10 out of the 14 Greater Sydney Metropolitan Bus Contracts.
The contract will be procured in Tranche Three alongside Contract One and 15. Transport for NSW have indicated that Contract Two can be procured in a joint bid with Contract 15.
