About IPA

Infrastructure Partnerships Australia (IPA) is Australia’s independent infrastructure intelligence unit and executive network.

We are a think tank on social and economic infrastructure markets and act as a connection point between the government and business sectors. We harness their expertise to develop and refine considered options, to fix infrastructure.

Infrastructure is about more than projects and privatisations. It is about good economic and social services, delivered at good value, to the community and economy.

Good infrastructure projects and frameworks are the key to good economic and social outcomes. That’s why we use data and research to inform the public debate about infrastructure challenges, and the options that exist to solve them.

Established in 2005, IPA was conceived to ensure excellence in infrastructure and efficient public services, to achieve the best possible economic and social success for Australia.
