  • 32 inpatient beds
  • four operating theatres
  • central sterile supply department
  • outpatient and allied health capabilities, and
  • additional carparking spaces.

PROJECT HISTORY

Nov 2020 The 2020-21 Victorian Budget announced the project, allocating $5 million toward planning for the project.
May 2021 The 2021-22 Victorian Budget confirmed the project's total estimated cost of $103 million and expected completion date of 2027.
May 2022 The 2022-23 Victorian Budget announced the project's total estimated cost had increased to $112 million.
May 2022 The Victorian Government announced Silver Thomas Hanley had been appointed architect for the project.
Jun 2023 The Victorian Government called for Expressions of Interest for the main works contract to deliver the project, closing on 13 July.
Jun 2024 The Victorian Government announced Kane Constructions had been awarded the contract to deliver the project, with construction also commencing in June. Designs for the project were also released.
