| May 2022 | The 2022-23 Victorian Budget announced the project's total estimated cost had increased to $112 million. |
| May 2022 | The Victorian Government announced Silver Thomas Hanley had been appointed architect for the project. |
| Jun 2023 | The Victorian Government called for Expressions of Interest for the main works contract to deliver the project, closing on 13 July. |
