Argoon Wind Farm is a proposed generation and storage project proposed to be located near Murrumbidgee, NSW. The scope of the works includes:
- up to 106 wind turbines with a total capacity of 901 megawatts (MW), and a maximum height of 249 metres (to blade tip)
- a 330-kilovolt (kV) substation with a 330-kV overhead transmission line connecting the Project to grid via the proposed Dinawan Substation
- a battery energy storage system with a 460 MW / 2.3 gigawatt hour capacity, and
- permanent and temporary ancillary infrastructure.
