The Australian Defence Force Academy Living-In Accommodation project will replace the current living-in accommodation facilities and related infrastructure at the existing Australian Defence Force Academy in Canberra.
The project is intended to deliver 1,500 rooms for Trainee Officers, offices for up to 100 supervisory staff within the accommodation blocks, and car parking for future Trainee Officers.
The project has been prioritised in response to the Defence Strategic Review.

Nov 2023 | A Statement of Evidence for the project was submitted to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works. The Committee is expected to report on the the stated purpose of the proposed work and its suitability for that purpose, the need for the work, and the cost-effectiveness of the proposal. |
Jul 2024 | The Federal Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works recommended the redevelopment of the cadet housing be approved. The cost has been revised to $1.2 billion. The Committee recommended that the heights of the building be increased and electric vehicle chargers be added. |
