The Banandra Wind Farm is a proposed wind farm to be located 40 kilometres south of Griffith, NSW. The scope of the project includes delivery of 93 turbines with a maximum capacity of 558 megawatts, in addition to a substation, switching yard, and enabling infrastructure. The project is being delivered by Squadron Energy.

Jul 2026 The project was submitted to the EPBC portal for Federal environmental assessment.
Aug 2026 A Scoping Report and request for SEARs were submitted to the NSW Major Project Portal.
Aug 2026 The Federal Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water determined the project was a 'controlled action ' and would be assessed under bilateral assessment agreements with the NSW Government.
