Birdwood Energy have proposed the development of a 400 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), to be located 10 kilometers south-east of Wodonga, Victoria. The scope of the project includes:

medium voltage power stations

substation and switching infrastructure

operations and maintenance facilities

228-metre overhead powerline connection to Wodonga Terminal Station, and

enabling infrastructure
