The Barwon Heads Road Upgrade Stage Two involves upgrading approximately six kilometres of Barwon Heads Road from Reserve Road to Lower Duneed Road from a two-lane to a new four-lane arterial road.
The project is being delivered in two phases:
- Reserve Road, Charlemont to Lake Road, Armstrong Creek
- Lake Road, Armstrong Creek to Lower Duneed Road, Connewarre
Stage One of the Barwon Heads Road Upgrade upgraded four kilometres of Barwon Heads Road from Settlement Road to Reserve Road, and was complete in 2023.
