The Boddington Giga Battery is a planned 324-megawatt / 1,200-megawatt hour battery and solar farm in Marradong, Western Australia.

The project is proposed by Progressive Green Solutions.

Financing

The project was a successful applicant for the Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS) Tender Round Two – Wholesale Electricity Market Dispatchable. The Federal Government will provide revenue underwriting for successful projects through Capacity Investment Scheme Agreements.

Mar 2025 AEMO Services, on behalf of the Federal Government, announced that the 324 megawatt / 1,200 megawatt-hour Boddington Giga Battery was a successful applicant for the Capacity Investment Scheme Tender Round Two – Wholesale Electricity Market Dispatchable. The Federal Government will provide revenue underwriting for successful projects through Capacity Investment Scheme Agreements.
