The Boree Solar Farm is a proposed 250 MW solar farm, located 25 kilometres east of Dubbo, in the Central West-Orana Renewable Energy Zone. The project is being developed by Venn Energy.
The scope of the project includes delivery of:
- a solar farm with a capacity of up to 250 MW
- a 200 MW / 800 MW/h BESS
- connection to the existing 132kV network, and
- a 132 kV collector substation
