The Bruce Highway, Gateway Motorway to Dohles Rocks Road upgrade (BDG) (Stage 2), is the second stage in the broader Bruce Highway - Gateway Motorway upgrade program and includes delivery of:
- 2 new bridges across the Pine River
- Collector-distributor roads on either side of the Bruce Highway to Dohles Rocks Road
- Extension of the shared active transport pathway across the Pine River to Dohles Rocks Road, and
- A fauna underpass.

| Sep 2025 | The Queensland Government called for Expressions of Interest for Early Market Engagement into the constructability input of Stage 2, closing 25 September. |
