The Bungama Battery, being developed by Risen Energy, is a proposed energy storage system which comprises the development of a 200-megawatt / 400-megawatt hour facility near Port Pirie in South Australia.
The project will include grid forming inverter technology with a new integration system.
The development is to be located adjacent to the existing 275 kilovolt Bungama Substation.
