Burroway Wind Farm

The Burroway Wind Farm comprises 75 wind turbine generators with a generation capacity of approximately 400 megawatts, a battery energy system with a capacity of 200 megawatts / 800 megawatt hours, and associated infrastructure.

The project is located within the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone and is being developed by TagEnergy Australia.

Dec 2025 TagEnergy submitted a Scoping Report to the NSW Government requesting the Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements for the project.
Feb 2026 The NSW Government issued Supplementary Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements for the project.
