The project will widen a 3.8-kilometre section of the Central Coast Highway, making it a dual carriageway in both directions along the full route between M1 Pacific Motorway at Kariong to Bateau Bay.
The Central Coast Highway is the main state road linking the M1 Pacific Motorway to Gosford, Erina, Terrigal and The Entrance.
