The Clean Energy Link - North Project is a proposed 330-kilovolt (kV) and 132-kV transmission line and terminal builds within the existing network which will connect Western Power’s Northern Terminal in Malaga to Neerabup Terminal in Pinjar. Work will also include existing line conversions and reinforcement work.
The Mullaloo/Wangara Substations to Neerabup Terminal contract includes:
- 26.5 kilometres of 132 kV transmission line
- 6.7 kilometres of 132 kV underground cable
- 17 kilometres of 132 kV stringing of vacant side, and
- other enabling works including substation and terminal upgrades.

Jul 2025 | ACCIONA has been awarded a contract to deliver the 26.5-kilometre, 132 kilovolt (kV) overhead transmission line from Wangara to Neerabup Terminal, alongside other enabling works. A contract value has not been disclosed, however it is understood to be approximately $168 million. |
