The Cobbora Solar Farm, being developed by Pacific Partnerships, is a 700-megawatt (MW) solar farm and a centralised 400-MW / 800-megawatt hour Battery Energy Storage System.
The project intends to connect to the proposed Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission lines and will be located in Cobbora, 15 kilometres west of Dunedoo in NSW.

Oct 2021 | Marble Energy submitted the scoping report to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment and requested the Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements for the project. |
Nov 2021 | The NSW Department of Planning and Environment issued the Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements for the project. |
Sep 2022 | The NSW Department of Planning and Environment issued a supplementary Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements for the preparation of the Environmental Impact Statement of the project. |
Oct 2023 | The NSW Department of Planning and Environment issued a new Planning Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements for the project. |
Jun 2024 | Pacific Partnerships acquired the development rights for the solar farm and BESS from Marble Energy. |
Mar 2025 | The project was included in the Federal Government's inaugural Renewable Energy Priority List. The Priority List aims to provide coordinated support through Federal, state and territory regulatory and environmental approval processes on a case-by-case basis and provide a 'faster to yes, faster to no' approach to regulatory approvals. |
