The Coomera Connector is a 45-kilometre transport corridor connecting the Logan Motorway and Pacific Motorway interchange at Loganholme and Nerang-Broadbeach Road in Nerang. The full scope of the project is being delivered in stages.
Coomera Connector Stage Two comprises the 4.9-kilometre section between Yawalpah Road, Pimpama, and Shipper Drive, Coomera. The scope of the project includes:
- connection and extension of the main line constructed as part of Coomera Connector Stage One at Shipper Drive
- grade-separated interchanges at Shipper Drive and Foxwell Road
- connection at Yawalpah Road and provisions for the extension of the Coomera Connector to the north
- bridge structures over Oakey Creek and the wetlands to the south of Oakey Creek Road, and a bridge over McCoys Creek
- overpass structures for Foxwell Road and Oakey Creek Road
- a shared pedestrian/cycle path

The project was included in the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program 2025-26 to 2028-29, released as part of the 2025-26 Queensland Budget. While no construction funding was allocated, the program confirmed that the Queensland Government would fund planning and design activities, expected to commence from early 2026, with their value expected to be less than $250 million. |
