PROJECT STATUS
Detailed Planning
Deeargee Solar and Battery Project

ACEN Australia proposes to develop the Deeargee Solar and Battery Project, a large-scale solar photovoltaic generation facility and battery energy storage system (BESS), supported by associated infrastructure.

The project will be located about 12 km south-east of Uralla. It lies within the New England Renewable Energy Zone and will connect to transmission infrastructure proposed to be built by EnergyCo as part of the REZ.

The solar farm would have a generation capacity of up to approximately 320 megawatts (MW), while the BESS would have a capacity of up to 1,400 MW / 2800 MWh.
