The Deer Park Battery is a 300-megawatt (MW) grid-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Victoria. The battery will connect to the National Electricity Market (NEM) through the Deer Park Energy Hub which houses the 220/66 kilovolt (kV) Deer Park Terminal Station that supplies electricity to metropolitan Melbourne and is located 24 kilometres from the CBD.
