The Doughboy Wind Farm is a proposed generation and storage project to be located approximately 40 kilometres northeast of Armidale, NSW. The scope of the works includes:
- 55 turbines with a total generation capacity of 340 megawatts (MW)
- a substation and transmission connection linking the turbines to the existing Transgrid 330 kV transmission line
- a battery energy storage system of up to 100 MW / 400 MW hour capacity, and
- temporary and permanent ancillary infrastructure.

Nov 2023 | SEARs were issued for the project. |
Jul 2024 | Ark Energy announced it will not proceed with the proposed project following a "change of mind from some of the project's involved landowners". The project has been withdrawn from the NSW Government's planning and assessment process and the Federal Government's environmental assessment process. |
