The Hillview BESS is a proposed one-gigawatt Battery Energy Storage System, to be located near Uralla, NSW. The project's duration will be between four and eight hours (between four gigawatt-hours (GWh) and eight GWh). The project will connect to the existing Eastern Hub Substation.
The Battery forms part of the Hillview Energy Hub, developed by TagEnergy.

| May 2024 | ACE Power submitted a Scoping Report to the NSW Government, requesting the Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) for the project. The Scoping Report set out the proposed scope of the project, comprising a one-GW / four-GWh battery. |
