The Elaine BESS, proposed by Akaysha Energy, would be a 300-megawatt / 1200 megawatt-hour battery, located five kilometres northwest of Elaine, Victoria and directly adjacent to the Elaine Terminal Station.
The location of the proposed battery sits within the South West Victorian Renewable Energy Zone.
