The proposed Emu Park Energy Hub includes a solar farm and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project located in Ellangowan within Richmond Valley.
The full scope of works includes:
- a 350-megawatt (MW) solar farm
- a 200-MW / 800-megawatt hour BESS
- an onsite substation
- an onsite switching station
- a connection to TransGrid's existing 330-kilovolt transmission line, and
- ancillary infrastructure.
