The new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital will be located in south-east Moruya on the far South Coast of NSW. Works as part of the project will include:
- an emergency department with a larger capacity than the current combined emergency services of Moruya and Batemans Bay Hospitals
- an eight-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Close Observation Unit (COU)
- increased capacity for chemotherapy treatments and access to renal dialysis
- surgical and operating theatres and a day stay surgical unit
- expanded medical imaging, including a new Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) service
- ambulatory care for community outpatient services
- paediatric and maternity services, and a special care nursery
- mental health beds for short term admissions, and
- enhanced education and training facilities, including a simulation laboratory.

Jun 2024 | The NSW 2024-25 Budget confirmed an additional $70 million for the project, bringing the total project cost to $330 million. The funding formed part of an additional package of $395 million for hospital upgrades across NSW. |
Jun 2024 | Multiplex Constructions was formally awarded the main works contract for the project. |
Jul 2024 | The NSW Government announced that construction had commenced on the project, with an estimated completion date in 2027. |
