The Eyre Peninsula Desalination Plant is a proposed desalination plan located near Billy Lights Point, South Australia.
The project includes construction of a reverse osmosis seawater desalination plant and supporting infrastructure. The facility will have an annual capacity of 5.3 gigalitres, and will service the water vulnerable communities on the Eyre Peninsula.

| Mar 2023 | The South Australian Government accepted the recommendation from SA Water to select Billy Lights Point as the preferred site for the Eyre Peninsula Desalination Plant. |

| Jun 2023 | The 2023-24 SA Budget revealed a cost increase for the project to $330 million, and pushed back the estimated completion date to March 2026. |
| Nov 2023 | SA Water announced ACCIONA had been awarded the ECI contract for the delivery of the Eyre Peninsula Desalination Project. |
| Apr 2024 | Geotechnical investigation work commenced at the site to assist in the planning of construction. A construction completion estimate of mid-2026 was also announced. |
