The Fitzroy to Gladstone Pipeline is a water pipeline in Central Queensland that will run from the Fitzroy River in Rockhampton to Gladstone. The scope of the project includes:
- a 117-kilometre pipeline connecting the Lower Fitzroy River into the Gladstone Area Water Board's existing network at Yarwun
- a water treatment plant, and
- reservoirs and pumping stations at locations along its alignment including Laurel Bank, Alton Downs and Aldoga.
The pipeline will have the capacity to transport 30 gigalitres per annum from the Fitzroy River to Gladstone.

Dec 2006 | The Central Queensland Regional Water Supply Strategy identified the Lower Fitzroy as the next main source of supply for urban and industrial needs in Rockhampton, Fitzroy, Livingstone and GAWB. |
Jul 2007 | The Coordinator General declared the Gladstone-Fitzroy Pipeline Project a Significant Project (now known as a Coordinated Project). |

Jun 2018 | Infrastructure Australia releases their Project Evaluation Summary for the Lower Fitzroy River Infrastructure Project, citing long-term need for the connection between the Fitzroy River and the dam is not currently required & will likely not be required until 2037. |
Aug 2021 | Gladstone Area Water Board appointed by the State Government to deliver pre-construction activities for the pipeline, which included undertaking procurement activities, addressing land access arrangements and determining long lead time items to ensure construction readiness for the pipeline. |
Jan 2022 | EOIs open for building construction and maintenance of pipeline. Media release for EOIs opening occurs on 19 January 2022. EOIs close 01 February 2022. |
Jan 2022 | GAWD appoints Tell Advisory as Transaction Advisor and SMEC as the Owner's Engineer to support delivery of pre-construction activities. |
Mar 2022 | McConnell Dowell and CPB Contractors shortlisted to participate in Early Contractor Involvement Process for delivery of pipeline. |
