The Garoo Solar Farm is a hybrid solar and battery storage project located approximately 40 kilometres south of Tamworth in New South Wales. The project has been proposed by Bright Path Renewables in collaboration with Jinko Power.
The project is expected to include delivery of:
- a 134 megawatts Solar Farm
- a 360 megawatt / 1,440 megawatt-hour battery energy storage system, and
- enabling infrastructure
