Gawara Baya Wind Farm is being developed by Windlab in North Queensland. The project would see the installation of 69 wind turbines, generating a total capacity of 400 megawatts (MW).
The project is to be located 65 kilometres southwest of Ingham, Queensland. The project was formerly known as the Upper Burdekin Wind Farm.

| Feb 2023 | The Public Environment Report for the wind farm was opened for comment, closing 3 April. |
| Jun 2023 | Early works on the project commenced. |
| Jun 2024 | The Federal Government announced the project had been approved for development. |
| Feb 2025 | Symal Infrastructure was awarded the contract to deliver the Balance of Plant works for the project. |
| Oct 2025 | The project was awarded a Capacity Investment Scheme Agreement as part of the Capacity Investment Scheme Tender Round Four. |
