The Federal Department of Defence and Praeco are currently engaged in a pre-existing Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement for the operation and maintenence of the General John Baker Defence Headquarters Joint Operation Command (HQJOC) in Bungedndore, NSW.
As part of the existing PPP, Praeco intends to procure a Design and Construct contractor for the delivery of major works at the site. The scope of the works includes:
- An extension to the main operational building of the complex,
- Delivery of a new collaboration and accommodation building,
- Delivery of associated works to existing site-wide infrastructure, and
- Delivery of minor upgrade works to the existing mess facility and operational support building.
