Gol Gol Solar Farm

The Gol Gol Solar Farm is being developed by Squadron Energy and will have an installed capacity of up to 600 megawatts (MW).

The full scope of works comprises the delivery of:

  • solar photovoltaic modules
  • transmission
  • substations, and
  • ancillary infrastructure.

The project is located in NSW, approximately 12 kilometres north of Mildura, within the South-West Renewable Energy Zone (REZ). The solar panels will be located within an area of approximately 1,500 hectares. 

This project will be developed in parallel with Gol Gol Battery and Gol Gol Wind Farm.

PROJECT HISTORY

Jun 2024 The project was issued the Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) by the NSW Government, having been requested in May 2024.
