The Golden Plains BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) will be a 150MW/600MWh system. The project is located within Golden Plains Wind Farm – East project area next to the constructed wind farm 220kV substation. The BESS will consist of up to 168 Megapack XL 2.0 battery systems, substation and operational facility.
