The Goldfields Pipeline Renewal is a planned suite of upgrades to the Goldfield Water Supply Scheme, linking the Mundaring Weir in Perth to Kalgoorie-Boulder in Central WA. The project is expected to be delivered over a 70-year timeframe, with works to be announced on a rolling basis.
Stage 1 of the project includes:
- replacing 44.5 kilometres of pipeline along the central portion of the pipeline
- valve upgrades to improve network reliability, and
- upgrades to Binduli Reservoir in Kalgoorlie, doubling storage capacity.
