Macquarie’s Green Investment Group has proposed the Great Southern Offshore Wind Farm, which would have one-gigawatt of generating capacity, and be located off the Bass coast of Victoria.
The offshore wind project would include:
- an offshore wind farm with up to one gigawatt of generating capacity
- an offshore substation with Array and Export cables, and
- an onshore substation, which will connect to existing transmission infrastructure.
