The Hillview Energy Park is a proposed renewable energy facility consisting of a co-located wind farm, solar farm, and battery energy storage system, located 20 kilometres south of Armidale, in the NSW New England Renewable Energy Zone.
The scope of the project is anticipated to include development of:
- a 300 MW Wind Farm, comprising 55 wind turbines,
- a 250-300 MW Solar Farm, and
- a 1 GW / 4 GWh Battery Energy Storage System.
Additionally, the project will include co-located transmission substations across the facility, expected to connect to the New England REZ Eastern Hub substation, pending delivery.
