The project, wholly owned by the Victorian Government's State Electricity Commission, is being delivered by OX2.

May 2025 | The 2025-26 Victorian Budget confirmed the project's total estimated cost as $364 million, and allocated $276 million to the project over the next three years, including $141 million in FY2025-26 through the State Electricity Commission. The project's expected completion date was also confirmed as Q4 2027. |
