The Kerrs Creek Wind Farm, being developed by RES Australia, is a proposed wind farm located near Orange, in the Central-West Orana REZ.
The full scope of the project includes construction of:
- 63 wind turbines with a generation capacity of 441 meagwatts
- one 33 / 330-kilovolt substation
- transmission connections, and
- supporting infrastructure.

Sep 2023 | RES Australia lodged a Scoping Report and request for the Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) with the NSW Government. |
Oct 2023 | The NSW Government issued the SEARs for the project. |
Jun 2024 | Supplementary SEARs were released for the project. |
Dec 2024 | The NSW Government published the Renewable Energy Planning Framework. The SEARs was amended to reflect the introduction of the Framework. |
