The Koolunga BESS is a 200 MW / 800 MWh Battery Energy Storage System proposed by renewable energy developers Equis. The scope of the project is expected to include up to 640 battery units and enabling infrastructure, and will connect to the NEM via the Brinkworth Substation, 140 kilometres north of Adelaide, SA.
