The Langley Vale Solar Farm and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is a proposed solar generation and battery storage facility, approximately five kilometres southeast of Gunning, within the Upper Lachlan Shire Council Local Government Area.
The proposed project includes:
- a solar farm with a generation capacity of 250 megawatts (MW)
- a 500-MW / 2,000 megawatt hour BESS, and
- a connection to existing 330-kilovolt transmission lines which transect the site.
The project is being developed by Elgin Energy.
