The Limestone Coast Energy Park comprises two co-located battery assets with a combined capacity of 500-megawatts / 1,500-megawatt hours, located in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia.
The project includes:
- Limestone Coast North - a 250 megawatt / 500 megawatt hour battery, and
- Limestone Coast West - a 250 megawatt / 1,000 megawatt hour battery.

Jul 2024 | Pacific Green announced Government of South Australia has granted planning approval to deliver both battery energy parks. |
Feb 2025 | Intera - a renewable energy platform owned by Palisade Investment Partners - acquired a 100 per cent interest in the Limestone Coast North project from Pacific Green Technologies, valued at $460 million. Pacific Green is being retained to manage the construction of the project, following which Palisade will carry out asset management activities. Palisade also announced that construction has commenced on the Limestone Coast North project, with a long-term offtake agreement in place. |
Mar 2025 | The Limestone Coast West project was included in the Federal Government's inaugural Renewable Energy Priority List. The Priority List aims to provide coordinated support through Federal, state and territory regulatory and environmental approval processes on a case-by-case basis and provide a 'faster to yes, faster to no' approach to regulatory approvals. |
