The Limondale Solar Farm consists of a 249-megawatt solar farm consisting approximately 872,000 panels in Balranald, NSW and commenced operations in 2021.
A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is proposed to be developed beside the existing solar farm with 50-megawatt/400-megawatt hour capacity.
The Solar Farm and BESS are located within the South-West REZ.
