Liverpool to Airport Transit Corridor - Fifteenth Avenue

The upgraded transit corridor will connect Liverpool to the new Bradfield city centre, enabling connections from Bradfield to WSI airport via Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport.

The Liverpool to Airport Transit Corridor will be approximately 8.1km, comprising:

  • 5.9 km along Fifteenth Avenue (between Devonshire Road and Cowpasture Road)
  • 2.2 km along Hoxton Park Road (between Cowpasture Road and Banks Road).

PROJECT HISTORY

Mar 2018 The NSW Government released the Greater Sydney Services and Infrastructure Plan which nominates the Hoxton Park Road and Fifteenth Avenue corridor as a rapid bus link.
Jun 2024 The NSW 2024-25 Budget allocated $50 million for planning for the Liverpool to Airport Transit Corridor, including $4 million allocated in FY2024-25.
Jan 2025 The Federal and NSW Governments announced a $1 billion upgrade to Fifteenth Avenue, linking Liverpool and Western Sydney International (WSI) airport, in Western Sydney. The project will be jointly funded on a 50:50 basis.
