Oct 2024 | The New Zealand Government announced a Schedule of 22 renewable energy projects to be included in its Fast Track Approvals Bill with a combined three-gigawatt capacity. The Bill was introduced into the NZ Parliament in March to give effect to a new streamlined approvals process for major infrastructure and other projects with ‘significant regional or national benefits’. The Mahinerangi Wind Farm project was included in the list of projects. |
