The Mallee Solar Farm is a solar generation and storage project to be located approximately 14 kilometres north east of Mildura, NSW. The scope of the works includes:
- a 600 megawatt (MW) capacity solar farm
- a 300 MW / 1,200 MWh battery energy storage system, and
- an on-site substation and switchyard to convert the electricity for export.
The project site is located within the South West Renewable Energy Zone.
Once complete, the project will be part of the Mallee Renewable Hub alongside the Mallee Wind Farm also being developed by Spark Renewables.
