The Corridor Package of the Suburban Rail Loop Airport (SRL Airport) comprises the delivery of:
- approximately six kilometres of new track and associated civil works
- overhead wiring system, wiring and structures
- land clearing and minor civil works for supporting infrastructure
- Combined Services Route (CSR)
- utility services relocations
- modifications to existing Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) tracks and supporting infrastructure
- shared user path works, and
- modifications to existing road bridges spanning the corridor.

Jun 2021 | Along with the beginning of Expression of Interest process for the Sunshine to Albion Package, Rail Projects Victoria announced its intention to deliver MAR through a total of six major works packages. This included the Corridor Package. Rail Projects Victoria noted that this packaging structure was subject to scope changes and realignments. |
Jun 2021 | Second phase of consultation began for Melbourne Airport Rail, closing on 6 September. Community feedback was sought on the shared use overpass in Sunshine North. |
Aug 2022 | The pre-qualification document was released - interested parties must meet the pre-qualification requirements to participate in the procurement process. |
Aug 2022 | Rail Projects Victoria invited Expressions of Interest for the Airport Corridor Package (ACP) construction works, closing on 3 October 2022. |
