The proposed Merriwa Solar Farm is located approximately eight kilometres from Merriwa in NSW. The solar farm would comprise:
- a 550 megawatt solar farm
- a 400 megawatt/400 megawatt-hour Battery Energy Storage System, and
- a connection to Transgrid's 500 kilovolt transmission line.
