Milpulling Wind Farm

The Milpulling Wind Farm is a wind farm and battery project, proposed by Goldwind Capital Australia, located near Gilgandra, NSW. 

The scope includes:

  • a 605-megawatt wind farm comprising 84 wind turbines
  • a 250-megawatt / one-gigawatt hour battery, and
  • up to three onsite substations.

PROJECT HISTORY

Jan 2025 Goldwind submitted the Scoping Report to the NSW Government, requesting the Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) for the project. The Scoping Report outlined the proposed scope, including a 605-megawatt wind farm comprising 84 wind turbines and 250-megawatt / one-gigawatt hour battery.
Feb 2025 The NSW Government issued the SEARs for the project.
