The Morwell BESS is a proposed 620 MW / 2.5 GWh Battery Energy Storage System to be located in the Latrobe Valley in South-East Victoria. The project is being developed by ACE Power.
The scope of works include delivery and installation of BESS units and transformers, enabling infrastructure and connection to the existing Hazelwood Terminal Station.
