The Mount Hopeful Wind Farm, proposed by Neoen, comprises up to 63 wind turbines with a maximum capacity of 400 megawatts.
The project site is located 13 kilometres southeast of Mount Morgan and lies approximately 45 kilometres south of Rockhampton and 65 kilometres west of Gladstone.

| Jan 2023 | Neoen and Stanwell signed a PPA for 215 megawatts of energy from Mount Hopeful Wind Farm. |
| May 2023 | Neoen submitted a Minor Change Application which reduced the scope of the wind farm from 97 turbines and 700 megawatts (MW) to 63 turbines and a maximum capacity of 400 megawatts. |
| Feb 2024 | The project received planning approval from the QLD State Assessment and Referral Agency for the revised scope of 63 turbines and 400 megawatts. |
