The Murray Terminal BESS is a proposed Battery Energy Storage System, to be located near Khancoban, in the NSW Snowy Mountains. The project is being developed by Akaysha Energy, and includes construction of a 500 MW / 2,000 MWh Battery and connection to the adjacent Transgrid 330kV Murray Terminal Switching Station.
